Please practice addition and subtraction facts each night to develop fact fluency.

We are currently taking a few weeks to talk about money.  2nd graders should be able to identify a penny, nickel, dime, and quarter.  They should also be able to count money up to $1.00.  Last, we will work on giving change back if they pay with $1.00.

Our next unit will be Unit 4.  Students will learn how to borrow or ungroup from the tens and hundred place.  Please have your child continue to practice their math facts as it is very helpful when they know their facts prior to this unit.
